Contests

Like most sites that host fanart and fanfiction, contests are a regular part of life at The Basilisk Cafe.  We try to hold a contest around 3-4 times a year, and they've always been a popular, well-supported event.  Whenever a contest is running, there will be a page here giving the rules and deadline for the contest, as well as a thread in our forums and regular posts in our LiveJournal Community.  Our more recent contests have also featured prizes for our contest winners, usually a variety of goodies from our Basilisk Village feature.

Over the last 5 years, we have held 12 contests, taking in a total of 55 entries.  17 of our members have entered our contests at least once, and of those, 8 have been named Contest Winner.  (The first contest had no winner.)
