Paid Accounts - Frequently Asked Questions

The questions below are intended to clear up any queries that might arise from the details of the hosting service - obviously, we can't anticipate everything, but hopefully we can settle some of the more common confusions.

Q. Does my site/blog/wiki/gallery have to be HP related?
A. Not at all - it's your space, and you can use it however you wish.  (Within the rules, of course!)

Q. Why don't you offer larger accounts?  I'm running out of space!
A. Because we're not a professional hosting company, and have no intention of becoming one.  We're operating this venture as a little side extra, for those who are looking for a friendly neighbourhood to host their blog, or somewhere to take their first experimental steps in making their own website - large, image-rich websites aren't something we would be able to support, at least for the foreseeable future.

Q. Why are 4Images/Coppermine image galleries only available for Platinum members?
A. We don't think that the lower tiers of account would be able to operate an image gallery - image galleries are very space-intensive, and 100MB of space will only go so far.  Even the Platinum account would only be able to sustain a modest image gallery - enough to showcase your own work and a few friends', but not a major archive.

Q. I want to unsubscribe, how do I do that?
A. Avail yourself of the power of the big orange button below - if you could also drop us an email to let us know beforehand, it would help us get your site backed up that much quicker.

Q. One of your members has posted something against the rules!
A. Tell-tale.  :p  Seriously though, if you believe that anyone is in breach of the rules, then the best thing to do first is to let them know about it - after all, it is their responsibility to ensure they stay within the rules.  If that doesn't work, then you should let the Administrators know.

Q. My question isn't answered here!
A. You know the drill.  Email-me-do
